RouteNavigator is where the rubber meets the road, so to speak. Once a route is planned with RouteEditor, it may be passed to RouteNavigator for flight. RouteNavigator provides a simple Horizontal Situation Indicator (HSI) display. On all touch models the bottom half of the screen can display use selected data. On keyboard devices this data will be available on alternate pages as well, but can not be displayed along with the HSI display. RouteNavigator may also be used independent of RouteEditor. The user may select waypoints for the navigation point (top left of the HSI) and destination point (bottom left of the HSI). When a route is loaded, the arrival point specified in the route is loaded into the destination point. After that, or in the absence of a planned route the destination point can be used as a scratch pad to keep track of a location, home base for example.
